WHAT IS "PREVIOUS HAND"?
NEW MUSIC PROJECT BY MIKE HARVEY
The term "previous hand" refers to a previous time period or event.
That previous event can reside at any moment no matter how much
time has passed in life.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Previous Hand is currently a mix of ambient and electronic music. Which combines different sounds throughout the entire music section of the project. What feels like a unique atmosphere that flows through the listener's headphones and speakers.

The project started in January of 2025 and made its debut on June 27th, 2025.
​
The idea is to relax and soothe the human mind with various
genres and patterns included in music.
EXPERIMENTS
They always say "we're just getting started." And that same statement lands on my debut ambient album.

I always loved expressing ideas through music, even if it's vague. It feels like a hidden message that should be left unsolved.
​
Through this genre of music, I was very inspired by experimental and rock groups such as Son Lux, Trent Reznor, and Hania Rani.
​
When combining both electronic and ambient elements, it created different things into one.
CURIOSITY AND PERSEVERANCE
As stated before, I love expressing idea through music. However, this one had a little bit more of a meaning than just random observations.
​
This 4 track EP tells a story about misery while also having some focus as a side quest. Even without lyrics, there is always a deeper meaning with tone and synths.
​
Storytelling and music combined into one is a very common thing, yes, but sometimes not every song is telling a story.
